Sunday, March 2nd, 2008i had quite a shit day at work
and i shouted at my dad a moment ago
and he just walked out of my room in silence
went to apologized to him
and told him i din mean to shout at him
just had a bad day at work
i came from a family that apologies does not exist
he just laughed and said “yeah i know”
made me feel quite bad

though u messed up my laptop area
when skyping ur relatives
thanks for being understanding
sharing a little tale i always remembered.
this is from some psychologist.
there are 2 toddlers, they are crawling towards the kitchen knife. dad A snatches his kid away from the knife and said nicely “it will hurt when it cuts u, dun go near the knife”. a few weeks later, he forgot wat his dad said and played wit the knife and cut himself.
dad B insteads lets the kid play wit the knife under close supervision. and the kid cuts himself, and cried cos it hurts. and remembers the pain for life. and did not cut himself from then onwards.
which, in your opinion is a better dad? A or B?
